Summer Activities

There are many things to do at Bear Lake during the summertime from boating to biking to raspberry shakes. We’ve listed a few on this page.

There are many hiking and biking trails as well as ATV trails around Bear Lake. We offer stay and ride packages that include lodging and toy rentals.

The Pickleville Playhouse has a wonderful summer theatre and Western Cookout.  There are a couple golf courses at Bear Lake.

A short drive north of Garden City is the Minnetonka Cave. It is located in the St.Charles Canyon in St. Charles, Idaho. There are daily tours during the summertime.

There is a beautiful historic tabernacle in Paris, Idaho. They give tours daily in the summertime. They are located at 109 South Main Street in Paris, Idaho.

The Annual Raspberry Days Festival is held every summer. An excellent calendar of events is  listed on the Bear Lake Valley event schedule.

The Bear Lake Brawl, a triathlon, is held in August each year. The Bear 100 Endurance Run is held in late September each year.

Bloomington Lake Trail and Bloomington Lake is up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley.
